Wordless Wednesday

It’s that time again…Linking up with Trish for Wordless Wednesday

We found this in one of our trees when we were pruning the branches. Some leftover egg shells from hatchings were left inside.

I haven’t given birds nests much thought since I was a child. Our 3 year old were so excited he was looking everywhere for the birds…sorry it to tell him, they had already flown the nest.

Have you found any surprises in your garden lately? And no, dog poo doesn’t count.

If you enjoyed todays Wordless Wednesday post…you should take a look around the blog…you might be surprised.

It’s amazing to think how they can create such a sturdy structure using only their beak and claws. Happy Wednesday!

That looks like a very well organised nest! I found a new cherry tomato plant in our backyard recently – a very pleasant surprise indeed!

    Lovely pic.
We had a nest in our tree and in a building we were renovating a nest had chicks.
I must check if it is still there.
    Thanks for linking up.

We had seven air conditioners in our house in Cairns, & the swallows used to love making nests behind them. The only problem with that was that it brought the snakes with it.

Lovely photo and treatment of it. In my yard the only thing that is there at the moment is brown grass. We are in a drought

I haven’t come across a nest for ages. We have lots of drop tail lizards, and by lots I mean hundreds! Cockys and parrots have been dropping in lately too.

I haven’t seen a nest for a while. In fact, the last one I saw was in Canada three years ago in a tree in front of my parents house.
